We are two friends devoted to peaceful living and respectful communication. We are committed to living harmoniously with one another and other life forms. We feel responsible and accountable for Mother Earth and for preserving Nature, in all its myriadmanifestations. We believe supporting our physical and emotional health is profoundly important and that doing so helps us be more peaceful with ourselves and other sentient beings. We believe in being charitable toward those in need and giving others space to choose freely; in respecting diversity, in all its forms; and not judging what we have not experienced; nor imposing restrictions on others, with regard to gender, gender preference; age; faith; color of skin; physical characteristics, nationality; or any other categorical qualification. We would like to find or establish a community, based on the principle of ‘barn raising,’ where we help one another, when need arises while maintaining complete individual and household independence, Our goal is to leave the lightest foot print possible, recognizing that we are part ofNature - not its owner. We also highly value natural healing processes; vegan/vegetarian life style; and relying, where possible, on energy derived from natural sources, e.g. solar and wind. Our personal preference is for a warm climate so our intention is to find or start a community congruent with our beliefs, in Hawai’i, preferably on the Big Island.
