Any Zeitgeist or Jacque Fresco fans out there? Nobody’s perfect or has all the answers, but at least they're thinking big; we like that. And we find little wrong with their basic philosophy. The trouble is, we think, is that their thinking is too big. Also, they seem to think they’ve come up with something new and that technology is somehow going to save the day. Neither is true, we don’t think. Resource based economy? They’re really talking about communalism, anarchism, primitive communism, Marxism or humanistic communitarian socialism to which we’d say yes, great! And about technology, the challenge is and always will be human unity and the ability to cooperate and share. With these abilities we should have been living in utopia with the technology of a few hundred years ago. Why not start (small?) 150 to 300 people on several hundred acres.
