Community Forming Coyote Ridge Farm On 1/25/2009
Almost Buddhists, with Pagan roots...

We don’t label ourselves as Buddhists in a formal way, but we find the ideals in Buddhism beautiful and inspiring. We also have Pagan roots, so we founded our community on an eclectic blend of earth-centered and Buddhist principles. We value intellectual and spiritual diversity, so it is perfectly fine if you have different or no beliefs whatsoever. We honor all paths.

Mild Winters! Multi-generational Community.

All ages welcome, wheelchair friendly.

We are two friends living on a beautiful farm, and are interested in expanding our community of like-minded people who value peace, quiet, interesting discussions, fresh ideas, and acts of kindness. We eat a large percent of our food from a huge organic garden. We enjoy a year-round growing season and own a tractor, so an organic farm is a possibility. We envision eventually living off the grid.

Who we are: We love nature, art, harmony, reading, animals, honesty, and humor.

About the land: 52 beautiful acres. Partly forest, partly rolling pasture. Creek and swimming hole that have never run dry. We have built a small cabin and remodeled an old barn into an art studio.

For those who want to work off the land, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Montgomery are an hour or so away. Tuscaloosa is a university town.
