Community With Opening dennis gordon Posted On 11/20/2009, Last Updated On 11/20/2009 Cappy and I have finally moved onto the property in McNeal Az. We have 4 permanent structures including a 35' travel trailer, pickup camper mounted above the ground, an electric house for the solar inverter and panels, and a 65' single wide mobile home. The perimeter fence is almost complete and we are slowly getting the basic needs in place. We are looking for individuals or couples to share the experience with us. We dont have a religious agenda. We would like to grow as much food as we can to eat and sell, find a way to market the natural resources on the property or to start some kind of for profit enterprise on the property. We are located at the base of a small Butte that rises above the valley. I have thoughts we could put a low power radio station on the top of the Butte. We have just started to bounce ideas around as to what we could do out here. 40 acres seems big enough to do anything we want to do. If you are interested please email at gordo6556@gmail.com. We can open a dialogue and go from there. We are looking for a caretaker to be on the property during the weekdays 24-7 and weekends off. Salary would be negotiable. If you would like to be in a warm place check out the weatherunderground website to find the temps. We are at 4200' in the sonoran desert. You can find us under Bird of Paradise in the IC. I will be updating the site soon. Email Address: Community With Opening Song Posted On 7/3/2009, Last Updated On 11/20/2009 Hey folks! Community With Opening Dave Posted On 11/16/2009, Last Updated On 11/16/2009 The Sanctuary is set on 120 acres of wooded rolling hills in Southern Indiana. We have almost no debt and currently generate positive revenues. Web Address: http://elkridgeranch.net We raise elk, buffalo, chickens on the ranch and, there is abundant wildlife all around our place. Think of the diet here as that of our great great grandparents. For some of you, your great, great, great grand parents, providing they lived out west during the mid 1800's. Here we eat, Elk and Buffalo that we raise ourselves on site, Venison from the local deer population, grass fed beef from the local farmers. There is a farmers market an hour away here, we can buy most greens and vegetables that are in season. Rice, lentils and beans is a daily staple at the ranch. We have a grow room where we grow sprouts and wheat grass for green drinks and as our food. Currently on the farm we grow grapes, we have 1000 plants and 7 varieties that are now 5 years old and considered mature. We also have black berries, raspberries and blueberries that we planted this past year. Growing wild here are several persimmon trees that have a wonderful sweet fruit. Presently we plant a few acres of sweet corn and have lined out a new area for a 3 acre organic garden. The ponds on site is loaded with dish, turtles and frogs. The buildings & housing are in place for living. There are still certain issues to workout. We have jobs for people that can work with little direction. We have room for a person to be the general manager of the operations.
